In 1991 moved to Germany after architectural education in japan. Post graduate study at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the unit of professor Elia Zenghelis. Worked in Düsseldorf, Brussels, and Athens for designing "Ashikita House of Youth" in Kumamoto as assistant of Gigantes Zenghelis Architects. In 1996 completing the post graduate curriculum, and in 1997 started working for the architects office RKW in Düsseldorf. In 2006 back to Japan and founded own office "antipodes", designing architecture and more.
I named my office "antipodes" because I came back from Germany where is 7 to 8 hours difference in time from Japan. But also I would like to see things from the other side, the other points of view so that I discover something new. And this word has greek origin where my mentor Elia Zenghelis comes from, and the word is also an international word.
