1966 born in Yamato-koriyama, Nara.
1991 graduation at the Osaka Institute of Technology, and moved to Germany.
1992 entered Kunstakademie Düsseldorf Aufbaustudiengang Architektur (post graduate) unit Prof. Elia Zenghelis.
1996 completing studies at the Kunstakademie as "Meister Schuler" of Prof. Elia Zenghelis.
first japanese working at the atelier of Elia Zenghelis. beside the study at the Kunstakademie visit Berlage Institute Amsterdam (now in Rotterdam) as assistant of Prof. Zenghelis. 1995 started planing design for "Ashikita House of Youth" in Kumamoto as a part of Kumamoto Art-Polis Project. the first half of planing was worked at the office in Athens, and the second half was done in Japan after finishing the Kunstakademie. 1997 back in Germany again and started working for RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky Architektur + Städtebau (now RKW Architektur +) in Düsseldorf.
2002 started as independent architect in Düsseldorf. major clients are quite large architects office such as RKW, HPP, Ingenhoven Architects, and providing planing, designing, and preparing visual documents for presentation. entering competitions was of course an important part of independent work.
2006 back in Japan and founded own office "antipodes hiroshi hirayama" in Kobe. 2017 moved to Nishinomiya.

Elia Zenghelis
greek architect and teacher. born 1937 Athens, Greece.
1961 completing his studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and founded OMA(Office for Metropolitan Architecture) with Zoe Zenghelis, his wife, his former student Rem Koolhaas, and Maderon Vriesendorp, Koolhaas's wife. OMA won the 2nd prize at the competition for Parc de La Villette Paris, but OMA's plan got higher evaluation than Bernard Tschumi's 1st prize plan. and this plan influenced so many architects at the time and still today. 1987 he went into partnership with architect Eleni Gigantes after completing the project Checkpoint Charlie Housing IBA Berlin.
In 2000, Elia Zenghelis received the Annie Spink Award for excellence in education from RIBA.
